Jesus’ life demonstrated that community transformation begins individually with intentional relationships, and corporately with collective involvement and action. It looks like walking the streets, speaking to those around you, dining at anyone’s table (or a bar counter in Ambridge), opening up your own table, and entering spaces of influence with bold advocacy for the forgotten. Community transformation starts with making room for the lives we pass every day to take up more space than a passing glance. As Church Army’s primary Center of Ministry nationwide, this is our approach to ministry every day at Uncommon Grounds and through our various outreach programs. 

To support the continual work of this mission, we are holding our Annual Uncommon Grounds Café Golf Outing on September 7th, 2024, at the Beaver Valley Golf Club in Beaver Falls, PA.
