Celebrate Recovery, AA Meetings, & NA Meetings!
*Temporarily Not Meeting*
Celebrate Recovery is a biblical and balanced program that helps us overcome our hurts, hang-ups, and habits. It is based on the actual words of Jesus rather than psychological theory. Twenty years ago, Saddleback Church launched Celebrate Recovery with 43 people. It was designed as a program to help those struggling with hurts, habits and hang-ups by showing them the loving power of Jesus Christ through a recovery process. Celebrate Recovery has helped more than 17,000 people at Saddleback, attracting over 70% of its members from outside the church. Eighty-five percent of the people who go through the program stay with the church and nearly half serve as church volunteers.
The local Celebrate Recovery meets at Uncommon Grounds Café, Tuesday Evenings at 7pm.
Celebrate Recovery can provide you with a safe place to share your experiences, strengths, and hopes with others who are going through the “Principles” in a Christ-centered recovery. It will provide you with a leader who has gone through a similar hurt, hang-up, or habit that will facilitate the group as it focuses on a particular Step each week. The leader will also keep Celebrate Recovery’s “FIVE RULES.” It can also provide you with the opportunity to find an accountability partner or sponsor, and will encourage you to attend other recovery meetings held throughout the week, if available.
We are:
A safe place to share.
A refuge.
A place of belonging.
A place to care for others and be cared for.
Where respect is given to each member.
Where confidentiality is highly regarded.
A place to learn.
A place to demonstrate love.
A place to grow and become strong again.
A place for progress.
Where you can take off your mask and allow others to know who you are.
A place for healthy challenges and healthy risks.
A possible turning point.
